Since inception the Lincoln County Crime Stoppers program has cleared over 2,260 criminal cases right here in North Platte and Lincoln County.  Our local program has helped recover over $870,000 worth of drugs and stolen property. 

Our statistics show how well Crime Stoppers benefits the community but just how does Crime Stoppers work?  When someone submits a tip about a crime we issue them a confidential code number.  The tipster then checks back at a later time to see if their information led to an arrest; if it did they will receive a cash reward.  The tipster uses their confidential code number and contacts a specific financial institution where they obtain their cash without revealing their identity.
