On July 14th, 2021, The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to a structure fire in the 6000 Block of North Washboard Road.  Upon arrival, Deputies observed a house and vehicle on fire.  After the fire was out, the investigation revealed that unknown persons used an accelerant to start the vehicle on fire which then spread to the house.  The total value of the damaged property was over $50,000.

Sometime around July 28th, unknown persons damaged property at the First United Methodist Church, located in the 1600 Block of West E.  The suspects used a BB gun or similar type object, and damaged several panes of stained glass windows on the church.  The estimated value of the windows is over $10,000.

In the overnight hours of July 22nd, unknown persons stole several items from Carrol’s Towing, located in the 1300 Block of South Chestnut.  The suspects stole 2 aluminum “L-Arms” which are designed for tow trucks, 2 two wheel dollies, a set of Craftsman tools and a set of Snap-On tools.  The estimated value of the items missing is $3,200.

In the overnight hours of July 19th, unknown persons stole a mini motorcycle from a residence located on East Commercial Street in Brady.  The mini motorcycle is black and gold in color with flames throughout the body and is approximately 2-3 feet in height.  The motorcycle is a chopper style bike with a wide rear tire and a slim front tire.  The value of the motorcycle is $1,200.

Between July 11th and July 13th, unknown persons stole a mountain bike from a residence, in the 1100 Block of West 3rd.  The bike is a Giant brand, that is dark grey in color and has black lettering.  The bike has skinny bars and larger tires.  The value of the bike is around $500.

Sometime between July 5th, and the morning of July 6th, unknown persons attempted to break in to the concession stand, located at Centennial Park.  The suspects used tools from a nearby garage to try and gain entry.  The suspects were unable to get into the building, but significant damage was done to the doors.  The estimated damage is around $1,000.

In the early morning hours of June 11th, unknown persons entered a vehicle that was parked in the 6000 Block of Thunderhead Drive.  The suspects stole a large quantity of veterinary equipment, a Dewalt reciprocating saw, sunglasses, and a gas card which was used to purchase $600 worth of gas.  The total value of the items stolen is around $5,000.

Hit and Run

On January 9th, just after midnight, a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling eastbound, when it left the road way and struck a house, near the intersection of Buffalo Bill and Second Street.  The driver fled the scene on foot and it was later learned the vehicle was stolen.  The total damage to the house and vehicle was over $30,000.

Sometime after 12:30 p.m., on May 31st, unknown persons entered a property, in the 4000 Block of South King Road near Sutherland, and stole a trailer.  The trailer is a 2019 Thunder Creek Equipment Trailer and is specifically designed to haul fuel.  The trailer also had a John Deere Air Compressor on it at the time of the theft.  The trailer is black and chrome in color and has solar panels.  The total value of the items taken is over $30,000.

Between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on May 7th, unknown persons entered a residence in the 800 Block of East E and stole several items.   Some of the items taken include a black X-Box Series X, a bottle of Proper 12 whiskey, a bar of gold weighing 5 grams, and a blue and black Altec Bluetooth speaker.  The total value of the items taken is around $800.

In the overnight hours of February 26, unknown persons broke into a garage located in the 100 Block of North Locust Street in Brady.  Once inside, the suspects stole two Skill electric screwdrivers, an open end wrench set, fishing poles, an orange tackle box and a set of Grips brand screwdrivers that are black and green in color.  The total value of the items stolen is approximately $400.

Sometime between January 15th and January 17th, unknown persons broke into a camper located in the 3800 Block of Hadley Drive.  Once inside, the suspects stole several items, including handguns and jewelry.  The stolen handguns include a .9mm Colt, .45 Colt Defender, .9mm Kimber 1911 that is blue, and a .45 Auto Ordnance 1911.  The total value of the items taken is over $4,000.
